1. Document AI: Harnessing Arctic Tilt, Snowflake’s proprietary model, Document AI can now process unstructured data using natural language. This feature is in public preview and will soon be generally available.
   
2. Dynamic Tables: Announced last year, Dynamic Tables are now generally available, enabling incremental data processing as it is ingested. This is one transformation tool directly in Snowflake that we can see taking the place of other ELT or orchestration tools in some use cases.
   
3. Serverless Flex Tasks: These tasks optimize efficiency by running within specified windows, potentially reducing costs by up to 42%.
   
4. Iceberg Tables and Polaris Catalog: Iceberg Tables, a popular open-source format, are now available across all clouds, with tight integration into the Snowflake-hosted Polaris Catalog.
   
5. Snowflake Horizon: This suite of governance tools includes Universal Search and Internal Marketplace, streamlining data discovery and management.

Building and Distributing Applications

1. Streamlit: Now generally available, Streamlit continues evolving, making building interactive applications easier. 2. Snowpark Container Services: A fully managed offering, available on AWS and in preview on Azure and GCP, supports containerized application deployment.
   
3. Git Integration and Database Change Management: These features simplify development workflows, now available in public preview. DAS42 is excited to see Git integration capabilities continue to advance, enhancing our ability to use governance best practices around version control and management in Snowflake’s many tools.
   
4. Snowflake Trail: A single UI for all the telemetry of your code in a centralized place. Works with many data governance tools like DataDog, Grafana, and Slack.

1. Snowflake Notebooks: Integrating with Git and enabling scheduled tasks, Snowflake Notebooks enhance ML pipeline management.
   
2. Snowflake CoPilot: An AI assistant that helps users with SQL queries and data analysis, now generally available.
   
3. Snowpark Pandas API: Distributes data preparation tasks across Snowflake warehouses, currently available in public preview.
   
4. Feature Store and Model Registry: New UIs for managing ML features and models, enhancing usability and management.
   
5. Cortex Fine Tuning and Studio: Tools to refine model behavior and provide no-code ML/AI development environments, making advanced analytics accessible to a broader audience.
   
6. Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search: Create chatbots from structured data in seconds via a no-code UI. (Snowflake featured a lot of capabilities for building custom chatbots this year – check out DAS42’s AI chatbot solution.)
